Directions to Edisto Island and Sea of Peace

From I-26 take I-526 West to US 17 South.

Follow US-17 south toward Savannah to Hwy 174 (pass Highways 162 and 165).

Follow Highway 174 to Edisto; turn left off highway at sign "Edisto Beach State Park".

After 9.1 miles you'll cross the intercoastal waterway bridge; you are now on Edisto Island-

   see the small blue sign after crossing the bridge.

Go another 11 miles and notice the TrueValue (on right); then turn right onto

     Palmetto  Road.

Drive 1.7 miles; at the "neck" sign, bear right, continuing to a white fence. Turn right

     onto Palmetto Pointe Lane.

Go about .6 mile (a dirt road) and you'll see the SOP mailbox and sign...Welcome!
